ABOUT HHPC SETTINGS

COMMUNITY-VERIFIED HANDHELD OPTIMIZATION

What is HHPC Settings?

HHPC Settings is a community-driven database of optimization profiles for handheld PCs. Each profile contains TDP targets, FPS configurations, resolution settings, and OS-specific tweaks tested on real hardware. Our goal is to be the most honest and transparent source of handheld PC optimization data on the internet.

Trust Tier System

Every profile is assigned a trust tier so you always know where the data came from and how much weight to give it.

Tier 1 — Official

Settings sourced directly from game developers, publishers, or hardware manufacturers. The highest confidence data. Currently empty — we are working on sourcing official optimization guides.

Tier 2 — Community Verified

Settings manually tested and submitted by community members with sourced evidence — Reddit threads, YouTube videos, or direct testing logs. Human-reviewed before publishing.

Tier 3 — Community Reported

Data aggregated from public community sources such as the ProtonDB public data dump (licensed under ODbL). These are compatibility reports from real users but have not been individually reviewed.

Tier 4 — Unverified

Placeholder or seed data with no confirmed source. Included for completeness but should not be used as a basis for device configuration.

Known Data Gaps

›Windows optimization data is limited — most current profiles are Linux/SteamOS sourced from ProtonDB.
›Device diversity is limited — expanding coverage beyond Steam Deck to ROG Ally, Legion Go, and others.
›Bazzite profiles currently link to ProtonDB as a compatibility reference. Dedicated Bazzite sources are being identified.
›Tier 1 official data is empty — no publisher-sourced profiles exist yet.

Data Sources

Current data sources include the ProtonDB public data dump (March 2026, licensed under the Open Database License / ODbL). Future sources will include Reddit community threads, YouTube creator guides, and direct community submissions.
